Zenith Legacy
Zenith was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot at the age of just 22. For almost 150 years the brand has held a reputation for producing high quality watches with exceptionally precise movements. Zenith produces their own movements in-house at their headquarters in Le Locle in the canton of Neuchâtel. The most famous of these movements is known simply as the El Primero. Introduced in 1969, the El Primero beats at an incredible 36,000 VpH and is seen by many as the standard bearer for all mechanical watch movements.
Zenith is a company steeped in tradition and their Captain, Pilot and Heritage collections are all based on timepieces created at a time when chronometer’s were essential for navigation at air and sea.
