The Zenith El Primero Heritage
The El Primero Collection is named after the famous Zenith El Primero movement. The movement beats at 36,000 VpH making it the most accurate series-produced mechanical movement. Making an El Primero movement involves 9 months of work, 20 watchmakers 5,500 operations. Each movement is created from start to finish at the Zenith Manufacture in Le Locle, Switzerland. 180 different versions of the El Primero have been made in 500 different variations. Complications powered by the El Primero include a tourbillon, flyback chronograph, rattrapante and the famous striking 10th. The El Primero Chronomaster has an openwork dial providing full view of this great mechanical invention.
