The Zenith Pilot Montre D’Aeronef Type 20 Manual Watch. Recently named as the WatchPro Magazine Mechanical Watch of the Year 2012. The Montre D’Aeronef is powered by the legendary Calibre 5011K hand-wound pocket watch movement. The 57.5mm titanium case is designed to offset the weight of the movement it houses. The notched crown is reminiscent of unique aviation timepieces of yesteryear. This is a watch that celebrates excess.
The C.O.S.C certified hand-wound movement is made using 134 components with 19 jewels. Beating at 18,000 VpH with a minimum power reserve of 48 hours. Functions include central hours and minutes, with a small seconds hand at 9 o'clock and a power reserve indicator at 3 o'clock.
Visibility is enhanced by the black dial and contrasting Arabic numerals that are made entirely of Superluminova. The diameter of the opening is 47mm and is covered by glare-proof sapphire crystal. The caseback is also made of transparent sapphire crystal. The watch is water resistant to 30 metres and is secured by a brown leather strap with a pin & buckle. Comes with a 2 year Zenith warranty.
