The El Primero Striking 10 chronograph embodies a return to the technical values that initially forged the success of the Manufacture Zenith. The El Primero is a legendary caliber, made fully in house by Zenith's own watchmakers in Switzerland. Developed in 1969, it was the first movement to beat at a cadence of 10 vibrations per second, or 36,000 VpH. The majority of other automatic chronographs beat at 8 vibrations per second making the El Primero one of the most accurate in the world. This model is powered by the Swiss made El Primero 4052 B caliber, made up of 326 components and 31 jewels. Stainless Steel 42mm case with glareproof sapphire crystal front and caseback. The silver sunray dial features contrasting colour counters, with rhodium faceted hands and indexes. The striking 10th features a 1/10th of a second chronograph, indicated by the central chronograph hand. Secured by black alligator leather strap with a stainless steel pin & buckle. Water resistant to 100 metres, 2 year manufacturer's warranty. Ltd Edition Of 1969 units.
