The story behind the IWC Da Vinci Collection
Leonardo Da Vinci had a fascination with mechanics and is known to have made many sketches of movements. The IWC Da Vinci range embodies innovation, creative spirit and is a tribute to Da Vinci’s lifelong interest in the precise measurement of time. Da Vinci designed and invented some remarkably complicated machines over 500 years ago which is what IWC try to recreate. The Watch Gallery have two versions, one in white gold and the other in rose gold. Both feature transparent casebacks revealing a mechanism as complicated as those designed by Leonardo himself.
