The Vintage WW2 REGULATEUR HERITAGE (Wrist Watch 2) from Bell and Ross pays homage to the history of military aviation. Reinterpreting Second World War timekeeping instruments used by bomber navigators in the 1930s and 1940s, this inimitable and exclusive timepiece illustrates the unique parallel between the history of aviation and that of watchmaking.
Its bi-directional notched bezel, large grooved vintage crown (which is placed on the left at 9 o’clock for greater comfort), rustic leather strap (with mobile fastenings which adjust to the wrist) and sand-coloured hands, numerals and index markers lend a gratifying sense of authenticity to the watch. Additionally, the VINTAGE WW2 features a sand-blasted steel case with a venerable, “gun-metal grey” finish. Sapphire crystal glass with an anti-reflective coating.
Swiss-made automatic movement showcasing a “regulator” movement that ensures optimum legibility of the minutes by separating the time information, the VINTAGE WW2 is certainly a watch that will appeal to military watch collectors and watch making connoisseurs alike.
