Raymond Weil was founded in 1976 and still operates under the direction of its founding family. The brand prides itself on being independent – Raymond is now chairman, his son Oliver Bernheim President & CEO, and a third generation, Ellie and Pierre Bernheim has now joined the company. Raymond Weil assembles its products at its headquarters in Genève and has done so now for over 30 years. Their goal is creativity and a classical aesthetic that is timeless.
The company was a huge gamble, starting out in the midst of the Swiss watchmaking crisis but now Raymond Weil is a celebrated luxury Swiss watchmaker that appeals to traditional watch enthusiasts and entry level buyers alike. The range features beautiful men’s and ladies collections, highlighted by the new Maestro collection which was launched in 2010.
